Hello

Go and ask in a pet shop, they might have other suggestions/help  for you too.

Cheers

So sorry to hear about Max.  I think that you should let the Vet give him a good look over, just in case there is an underlying problem.  Better  safe than sorry. Hope he will be OK.

Sorry to hear about Max, our dog Pudge (16) had this same problem and we used rugs with plastic type backs that you can put in the washing machine.  Purchased from Amazon and not expensive.  Then about 12 months ago we started giving him DOG turmeric, for his joints (purchased from Amazon) and the dribbling while asleep has about stopped altogether.

I recommend seeing a vet first of all - we had a similar problem with our 14 year old dog ( albeit female, so different plumbing!) and a prescription of Incurin sorted out the issue pretty quickly. I know this specific solution won’t suit Max, but the point being, I had no idea that a medical solution was available and was so pleased we checked as it was easily fixed

Try the smallest baby/infant disposal nappies. Secure with a small baby-grow. I also used them on my dog when she was spayed without the need for a "lamp shade". She healed very quickly and she had comfort.
