Coming over later this month to view properties for purchase. Looking for recommendations for Lawyer to handle the paperwork please.

Abaco Advisors downtown Torrevieja. Big firm covering everything. Spanish & English staff as well as most other languages too. Talk to them or whoever else you choose before coming for any viewings. Later on if you find a place they will check the property out for you before purchase and hold any deposit pending property checks. Good advice above about having your own independent lawyer and not using the estate agents ones.

We have used them when we purchased our house, used them for Spanish wills, they also look after us if we need them.

Hi Christine. When we bought here our solicitor passed us onto another lawyer in town as he was Spanish and practiced both in Scotland and here in Valencia region. He then introduced us to Adrianna at A & G Lawyers, local lawyers, who did the completion for us, ie: signed on our behalf on settlement day, arranged for transfer of utilities into our name etc. Adrianna and her team were excellent. They have offices in Torrevieja, Quesada and Orihuela Costa. They are fully qualified Spanish lawyers , speak perfect English, have a look at their website and see what you think.
