Free bus fares

I have taken the bus into Torrevieja and back to Jardin Del Mar on Friday and today. On all 4 trips the bus drivers have given me a free ticket.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am on the understanding it’s to promote Disability/mobility week, bus fares are free to all users until Thursday 22nd September?

I dont know the reason but I know this does continue untill 22nd Sept.
Good reason to visit more places I'd say
