Wanted: Left hand drive car, not too old and reliable.

Hi we just bought over there but the second hand prices are ridiculous. We got a 2014 Dacia Sandero not our usual type of car but for a villa car we thought it perfect if you search on Facebook cars for sale Costa Blanca etc there are lots of pages we got ours of a guy desperate for money so got a good deal in conparrasion 

We also found if you where willing to drive inland there where better deals to be hand that the tourist hotspots too

Thanks for the advice. I joined Facebook and did a search but in the meantime,we decided to buy a new car. Wonderful but we have hit on a problem.....Your NIE on it’s own is no use ,you must go to the traffic police with official documents and 3 photographs as well as to go to Bank and pay the fee straight into their account...less than €10 but the earliest appointment that our solicitor can get for us with them is 13th April. We called 3 times in the hope that they would take a few minutes and validate our forms but had no luck at all. The garage owner is shocked but he cannot do anything to speed things up. The car cannot be registered for road tax without this form.

The office is off the Avenue de Los Habaneras and they deal solely with official documents.  Also, not speaking Spanish is a handicap, our solicitor wrote a note in Spanish for them to read but it held no sway.

Most sellers will deal with the paperwork for you. You could try VentureFleet cars in Montesinos, and they will either do it for you and sell you a car or advise you. Hope it sorts for you/
