Went to Calpe from Torrevieja Nord on th AP-7 this morning and paid 1.70 Euros toll fee. On the way back this afternoon The toll fee was 3.55 Euros with the same payment method and exiting Torrevieja Nord. Does anyone know why there is this difference?

No because it was the same toll station at Alicante Bypass and the end of the pay section, just like the other way when it was the start of the pay section. No tickets were involved just credit card payments.
