Hello all,

After installing new kitchen we noticed the yellow bugs invading our kitchen. Not sure where are they coming from but we presume from sewer.

Would you know anybody who can help us with this issue?

Thanks!

Hello

Can you post a picture of the 'bugs' to see if anyone can identify them and maybe suggest a solution?.

Cheers

they should not be coming from the sewer as there should be siphons in each drain.. Unless they are left to dry out..

Obviously I have no idea what this bug may but I would certainly like to think they are not coming from the sewer. If the bug is floor crawling, Mercadona (see attached photos) sell a great floor cleaner that contains insecticide. I use it daily and very rarely see any bugs on the floors. It even attacks cockroaches! It may be a good idea to speak to whoever installed your kitchen to ascertain if they have any ideas where the infestation has come from. Good luck.

Totally agree with John123456. We use the Mercadona floor cleaner with insecticide and use it for the floors and also mixed with water and sponged over surfaces. No ants or (touch wood) cockroaches or any other type of crawly things since we've been using it.

There's also a three witches (Tres Brujas) disinfectant that we use which gives it a lovely aroma as well.

Thanks all for your replies!

Not sure if that's waterbugs (I was googling what can it be). I'll give the floor cleaner a chance but the problem is that they are coming from behind a kitchen cabinets so I think professional will need to have a look...

Looks like a cockroach.

Nasty insects.

Prob need pest control.
