By the large aqua park there is spare land and that is where the Friday Torrevieja market is held. It is a large market. Go past the Habaneras on your left hand side and go to the roundabout, turn left and follow the other people that are also going to the market there will be loads of them.

If you are coming into Torre using the N332 there is a turn-off that you take for Carrefour and Habeneras. Turn right by Lidl keep going and you come to the market in about 1km on the left.
It is not a normal type of turn-off as the slip roads are not where you might expect, but if you look for the waterpark slides it's easier.
It is on the opposite side of the N332 from Carrefour by the way but there is a bridge nearby.

Is the market on all year, or is it seasonal?

While there are certainly lots of other nationalities living in Torrevieja it is essentially a Spanish city with it's market supported by the resident Spanish people therefore the market is open all year round and is not something aimed simply at tourists.

Thanks John, having only just brought my place in Torrevieja, as yet not experienced winter there, so was not sure how the weather might effect the market opening.
Back over end of November, so will find out then what weather is like 😉

The Torrevieja market is a large market which is held every Friday from early morning and ends at around 2pm. There is a large carpark but important to go no later than 10.30 am if hoping to get parked.
When you come over in November, the weather should be delightful during the day, warm enough to wear shorts and warm enough to relax in a bikini on your balcony or solarium. By 3.30/4pm, as the sun begins to sink, there are few or no clouds to provide cover so it becomes cool quite quickly. Daytime clothes remain light ( although the spanish tend to wear winter clothing). By evening, sweaters are needed. I tend to wear cashmere as it is light but extremely warm. M&S stock machine washable cashmere and well worth the investment...Bring a scarf and gloves too. You may not need them but better to have than to wish you had packed them in! We love to walk the boardwalk into La Mata before 6 pm. All the big motorhomes are parked up for the winter and their owners always meet up for coffee / drink as the light is beginning to fade so there is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurants at that time.
Years ago, during the winter, a lot of restaurants would close for a month in January or February but not so nowadays. So many Scandinavian people spend their winters in Torrevieja and other areas which has been a life saver for the restaurants who previously struggled with a skeleton staff.
Not sure where you have bought in the area but there are other markets to attend.
La Mata ( bus A) have their market on a Wednesday.
Playa Flamenco has one on a Saturday.
Guardamar..Wednesday.
Torrevieja..Friday
Lemon Tree...Sunday. ( need a car or be a cyclist to travel)
Zoco. ....Sunday...also require transport to get there.
The street stalls in Torrevieja are open every night and add a touch of colour all year round.
There used to be an evening market at Los Montesinos on a Friday but no idea if it is still ongoing....probably is!
If you don’t intend to have a car, you will be the fittest and healthiest people by the time you go home.
Enjoy.
