Every website I have been on trying to find this out gives the same phone number 44 191 218 1999.  However when I call this number I just get  a message in Spanish which I think tells me the number doesn't exist.  Help anyone!

Try the gov.uk website. There is information on there about the S1 form

You need the international dealing code of 00 before the 44 country code.

Good Luck, hope all goes well. When you receive your S1 take photocopy for your records, as you never know when you might need it and Newcastle can get stroppy at having to send copies.

Which ever address you give them, if it is a Spanish address yes it will be sent to Spain.

From info I received on the forum, apparently I should contact DWP and ask for an S1 form to be sent out to me. I did this...however was told that they do not send out a form...instead I should contact them 4 weeks before, giving them all my details...when we will be in Spain etc and they ...DWP..will deal with it all. It takes 4 weeks to process therefore should all be set up by the time we arrive. ???? Not sure if this is actually correct as it sounds contrary to all the information I’ve received via the forum. Anyone with recent experience of this, I’d love to hear from you. TIA

I managed to phone Newcastle to request my S1 form.  I was told to phone again 28 days before my state pension is actually due which will be in November.  The lady said they would get it all filled in and sent to me at my Spanish address.  Also have been advised to make copies of it.  It all seems straightforward.............I hope.
