Roof on utility room

Hi all, we have a roof on our utility room which opens up manually. The mechanism has stopped working so does anyone know of someone that can replace it.

It looks a bit corroded, so is probably just seized up. I suggest you invest in a can of WD40 and squirt that into the mechanism. Lots of waggling to and fro and it might come free again.
Ok Jim thanks as always hubby will give it a go , may save us a a few euros. Seems so silly but if that works it may save us replacing it all.
