Hi everyone

My daughter and I are thinking of relocating to Torrevieja. It looks to be the perfect place for us with many English expats . We would like to have a holiday there this year, if at all possible, and we are hoping someone can recommend a nice hotel near the beach and shops. My daughter has walking difficulties so we would rather there were no hills to climb.  Many thanks in advance.

There are not many hotels in Torrevieja but we stayed at the Fortuna. Just a few meters from the fountains, lots of restaurants, shops , marina and beach, all on the flat, excellent location and had a pool, however not sure if hotels are open at the moment..

Hi , we also stayed at the Fortuna. It’s very conveniently located , close to everything you need .

Hi,

I agree,  we stayed there when we purchased our second home.

Very conveniently located good value for money.

Hello Lorraine

Its actually  called Hotel Fontana..........http://www.hotelfontanaplaza.com/EN/hotel.html Very central if you look on a map. Currently closed, as are all hotels in the area, some for many months so unsure if/when they will reopen. Now you have a link lolly52,  you can keep checking but don't have high hopes for anything changing soon

Cheers

If you’re on a tighter budget, Hotel Cano is a small family run hotel. Extremely clean and staff very friendly and helpful. It’s central and just a couple of minutes walk from the bus station, Cura beach, Marina and shops.

Obviously closed at the moment but highly recommended when things open up again.
