We are planning an autumn break in southern Costa Blanca in November. I know off season some places can get very quiet and many retaurants and bars may be closed. I have never visited this area and was thinking about Villa Martin or Caba Roig areas. Any advice on areas where there might be plenty of low season activity. I will be hiring a car so I can move around a bit.

Villamartin can indeed be quiet in low season, Cabo Roig less so.
I suggest you look at La Zenia, Playa Flamenca and Punta Prima, which are busy all year round, everything still open.
