big Pigeon problem

... our balcony. The grey ones fly into our patio doors. If doors are open they fly into apartment. A man comes each week for a quick clean and throws bird food over roof which attracts more pigeons. The authorities are not interested and my lack of good Spanish doesn't help. Can anyone help with advice.

If it was me, I would buy a good (20euro) bb pistol, and regularly take a pot at the roof.

It won,t hurt the birds but would startle them into flight.

They will return, but after a few times, may decide it is more peaceful to settle elsewhere during the day, taking their cooing with them.

Allow them to return to roost at night.

Should make situation more tolerable and provide good fun as well!

Incidentally this worked back in UK where they had become a nuisance on my roof, bu be warned, I seemed to get more birdshite on my car after that!
