Property wanted to rent: One bedroom apartment
Hello everyone, my name is Carole and I am interested to know if anyone knows of any WARM appartments in torrevieja, I've discovered that central heating is not an option here but maybe a place with fires or lots of heaters, the air conditioning ones aren't great. My reason for the unusual request is due to us, my daughter and I, having had a bit of bad luck since we started planning this holiday rest a few days ago. This holiday was booked as a last minute, to try to recuperate after a few recent health problems, thinking we could just rest in a tourist atmosphere, enjoy some walks on the beach and simply relax in a nice warm flat.
We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with booking.com and they cancelled at 8pm the night before our morning flight. We found a Airbnb 2 bedroom apartment & had to take it without having much contact to explain our needs, mainly a warm house and when we arrived on Saturday, we were shocked from how freezing cold it was. Everyone was kind and understanding, so we left & found a 1 room bedsit, again, house is fine, people are lovely but the cold is the same. So if anyone knows of anywhere else for 7/9 days, taking us up to the 15th, that would be great. We are fine where we are but we would change again if we did find a really warm place. I've an idea that it's a tough ask but thank you, I appreciate it.
