Can anyone tell me about special paint that you paint over damp walls (inside and outside) . It is supposed to draw out the wetness and get rid of damp in walls?

Hi Grace, I had damp patches coming through in my underbuild and covered them with white tile paint about a year ago and then emulsioned over it. So far it has come back through!

"Hey'di" is used in Northern countries and uk. Don't  know if it is available in Spain.

I don't know of any paint but tanking slurry worked in our cellar in the UK. You can paint over in with normal emulsion.

We used Agua Stop (a paint which we bought from Leroy Merlin) on our North facing external wall as we had a couple of damp patches coming through.

We have had no issues since.

Is it not better to find the cause of the damp first?. Prevention is better than cure!
