We got Angar Taxation Services to complete our non resident taxes last year.

They charged us a fee of less than €50 in total for 2 returns.

This year they are charging €120 for 2 returns.

That’s some increase!

Luckily there are a few other options :-).  I ditched ANGAR as he felt it was ok to increase his chargese after id received the invoice and paid it in full, along with my taxes, direct to ANGAR bank account. He threatened to not pay my tax bill (he had my tax money as well as full settlement of his invoice), until i paid this extra money that he trumped up.  Pretty unbelievable really - or maybe not.  I used Iberian Tax this time and the process was very smooth.

Does your tax representative send you the completed Modelo 210 as part of his/her service?

It's not too difficult to do it yourself using the previous years submission as a guide and you don't need a digital signature.

You do need a tablet/laptop with internet access and access to a printer. The forms are very similar from year to year, the only difference with this years submission (for last year 2021) is that the tax rises from 19% to 24%. Not a massive increase for most.

Yes the NIF field is also the NIE number.

Once you've completed & validated the online form you then generate your official 5 page non resident tax forms. **Unless you have a Spanish bank account under your NIE and also that of any co-owner, select "pay cash". (A lot of non residents opened bank accounts with passport numbers, which mean nothing to the tax people. Selecting paying by direct debit will cause problems in these cases). Each co owner is required to fill out their own form (you can do the lot) and pay their proportion of the bill. So if 2 owners each declares half the total amount.

1st 2 pages are instructions, 3rd page is your representative' copy, 4th page is your copy and the 5th, with the big blue F, is the bank's copy. You take a print of page 3,4 & 5 to your bank, making sure that they're all signed & dated. Pay your money and the bank will give you copy 3 & 4 stamped to prove payment. The bank send copy 5 to the tax people, who then reconcile it with your online submission.

It really helps if you've got last years submission and if you save (export) the form before proceeding to generating payment form, you can use this to auto-complete next years form.

Looks frightening but it's not that bad when you've done the first

I have used Angar for over 5yrs and after reading many earlier threads on this subject and receiving no notification from them messaged them and was told the original €40 was correct for calculation but instead of including paying it for us that now would cost a further €40.I can't understand why yours became €120, but I agree it is a scandalous increase. I have found a company called Taxadora which charges €60 to complete and pay for 2 owners. I shall be using them this year.

Regards

Pauline

What about this company if you don't want to do it yourself.
