"Hoppy" scooters

I recently read a post on a forum (maybe this one, maybe another) recommending Hoppy e-scooters - not to be confused with "Hopp" (which look extremely similar). I just want to give you my experience from yesterday.
I downloaded the app and used it to hire an e-scooter. The journey started okay, but on several occasions the e-scooter just stopped working. It would then start again. Could it have been low power?
I then pushed it the short journey to the next scooter parking spot. The app stated that I was in the parking spot (alongside another scooter) but wouldn't allow be to end the journey. Eventually, the scooter switched itself off and my app confirmed that I had finished. I was charged €10 for 1.3km, which I thought was quite pricey. I checked and it stated that you get charged €0,10 for each minute that the scooter is stationary (which was quite a lot of time due to continual stoppage).
The conclusion is that I will not be re-using. Maybe others have had a better experience, but I am just conveying mine.
