Hi we are holidayng in Venta La Nuza at the end of August and although we know it os quiet what actually is there to do?

we understand campello is a 15 minute drive away and wondered what you would recommend to do or se there? Also how far is Benidorm and would yu recommend visiting any other areas?

We are visiting with the idea of possibly buying a property but want to try it out first

Thanks in advance

There isn't a great deal to do to be honest.

There was a quaint little bar called the Jet Set Bar that has just been taken over by new owners and they have flashed it up a bit but it's still just a bar. There is a very nice little beach there too.

You could probably do some fishing and I think there are a couple of restaurants/bars up near the little shop as you get in to Venta Lanuza. There is the tramline that will take you to Benidorm and Alicante if you want. Coveta Fuma which is just before Lanuza is lovely too with more restaurants and night life.

By car Campello is probably only 5-10 mins away and Benidorm maybe 20-25ish, Alicante around 35 mins.

I guess it really comes down to just what sort of things interest you, if you like walking/cycling trails check out Busot. There is a nice cave up the mountain that you can visit.

We bought an apartment in the centre of campello two years ago and are now buying a villa in Venta Lanuza.  Ideal thing about Venta is the tram which can take you into campello in about 10 mins.  Also you can get to Alicante or Benidorm on the tram which avoids the need for a car. Beach is nice as is the bar.
