IRPH Mortgage
Good Morning,
Is anyone familiar with the IRPH mortgage scheme? Or better still, do any forum members have any direct experience of this type of mortgage which has resulted in them getting a compensation from their bank? You maybe familiar with a similar scheme called "Abuse Clause" which is well documented but ours was an IRPH Scheme which is also subject to a similar court case.
We have a lawyer working on the case for us but he seems very slow and our concern is that we may miss the opportunity to secure any compensation within a specified period which for us, ends in January 2021.
We had a property in Costa Brava under this scheme until 2016. It was only when a friend alerted us to the"Abuse Clause" court case that we became aware that the IRPH was also subject to a similar court case but successful judgement on this is very limited.
