Thinking of early retirement to villamartin in 2021

How much money does a couple need going into there bank account monthly thanks in advance for any help

Latest reports at present are €900 per month, or a bank balance of €7000, per person, maintained for at least three months.

After the end of the transition period, it all depends on what the Brexit joint committee decide. The best case scenario is that the above requirement will continue. The worst case scenario is ~€2400 per month.

That could still happen. It all depends on what the joint committee agree, which will have to be a reciprocal agreement, so it really boils down to what Boris is willing to accept from EU citizens.

That's worse than I thought could you have a bank account in the uk with savings and set up a direct debit for that amount each month to be sent to a spanish bank account

The Government are offering all EU nationals currently in the the right to apply for settled status. So it’s not quite true that they are being treated as third party nationals. So hopefully the Spanish government will recipr
