Hi Everyone i am about to complete on a new build property next month one thing i have not done yet is look for buildings and contents insurance for the property so hopefully someone can point me in the general direction for a competitive quote. I have been given an option by my Spanish Solicitor but want to cross check other providers before i commit to any ting, hopefully someone might have a suggestion.

The property is in Villamartin for referecne.

I did a lot of shopping around when we took out insurance last year. By far the cheapest was Generali. We purchased the policy through Spanish-Insurance.net at their office next to Mercadona in Los Dolces/La Zenia. They speak good English and provided the policy and terms and conditions in English. Well worth the trip down there to chat to them.

You could also consider Linea Directa (Direct Line), English speaking etc.
