Slightly disturbed about details in the paper regarding Spanish National Statistics Institute tracking our movements from records of mobile phone signals.

Should I be concerned, no details about why this information is being collected and perhaps more worryingly what is going to be done when the INE have this information.

Thanks Ray, admire your optimism that the information will be used to improve transport infrastructure, don't need census to see the roads, and bus services are a disgrace, just need a pair of eyes. The N332 is a case in point.

Too many vested interests at too many levels for any improvements to be made unfortunately.

More worrying is the information Google and Facebook gather on us every day of the year.

I would love to believe there will be improvements from this collection of data, but I think it's a case of hope of over experience.

Something may happen sometime, but not in my lifetime.

If whoever is in charge of the transport infrastructure was seriously committed to improving things then the problem with the N332 would have been sorted long ago.

I wont be holding my breath.
