Hello

Does anyone know if fibreoptic broadband is available in the Valencia's 1 in Villamartin?

I am with Euronet at the moment but it is only 6mbps and I want to use my amazon fire stick when I next come over.

Thanks

Check with Telefonica/Movistar who does all the infrastructure, all others are resellers.

Hi,

We are in Valencia's 1 and recently started using NOLIMIT.EU in Los Dolses for Fibre (installed in the Summer) - We went for a 300Mb package and no issues so far.

There may be other providers for Valencia's 1 but I did look around a bit at the time and didn't see anyone else who provided Fibre.

Hope that helps.

we enquired about fibre internet on valecias 1 last year but because our house is set back quite a bit from the road where the cable support poles are we were told it was not an option for us.

incidentally regarding the use of a firestick, we bring ours over with us and despite only piggy backing our neighbours normal wifi (with his permission i hasten to add) we can watch it with hardly any issues at all, including HD sports streaming. i only get around 6-8mbs this way so the extreme speeds being advertised are not as necessary as companies make out. 20mbs would be plenty for most people if it was a stable connection and 4 members of the same house were not streaming HD content at the same time.

thanks for the reply.

We are at the bottom end of valencias 1 and so would be in the same boat.

Maybe I should try to increase my broadband to 20mbps and see how we go.
