Hi Ally,
So long as you're contracting with one of the major, reliable companies in the market - Avatel, Mas Movil, Moviestar, Telfy, Vega Fibra, etc. - it should be fine. There are a lot of "here today, gone tomorrow" companies offering internet services, but other members will warn you of bad experiences.
We switched from Telfy to TV Horadada, because TVH installed fibre in our locality first; shortly afterwards, there was a dispute between the owners which caused some supply issues, but then TVH sold the business to Avatel and their service now is easily on a par with Telfy.
Despite the market in Spain not having developed in such a cohesive manner as the UK, Spain does have a wider coverage of full fibre broadband rolled out and faster average download speeds than the UK. But do take those stated download broadband speeds (mbps) with a pinch of salt. Even with a contracted mbps of 300, I've never achieved more than 50 on test in Spain, but that's more than adequate for what I want to do. (As a friend of mine, the CEO of a computer company, told me, you could run a small business on a reliable 100 mbps!) If you really do need 600 mbps, ask your provider whether the advertised speed for the package you're buying is the "velocidad real" (real speed).
Kind regards,
Kim
