Hi, I am travelling from the UK next week and was wondering where we can get tested prior to our return on the 11th June. We are in the Punta Prima area. Also, is a Lateral flow test ok, or does it have to be PCR. An idea of cost would also be appreciated.

Hi Martin,

Entry requirements for returning to the UK are here:

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi

We used imed http://www.imedtorrevieja.com/es/  it’s by the haberneras/cinema

The antigen test is currently sufficient for entry to uk and costs €40

I believe Dam Health at La Regia in Cabo Roig also offer this test at €39

Obviously you would need to check requirements at the time you are due to travel as changes can happen at any time, but we found imed very good. Booked an appointment and paid online so you don’t have to queue outside, just go straight in and on the corridor there’s a sign saying wait here for Covid testing.  Results were received by email very quickly.

Cheers - Sharon

Hi. I am getting confused with the test required for entry back into the UK. The official government website says either a PCR or antigen. (PCR €120. Antigen €40)obviously you would choose the antigen but further down on the website it says the words PCR must be in the test results otherwise travel not permitted or fined OR show which device was used for the test. So l just wondered how recently you returned to the UK with the antigen test results being accepted
