Coming to spain for six months and we are bringing a car , does it help having a white car , and do we need to carry anythink specific to drive in spain ie hi vis etc

If Brexit goes ahead on 31st October you will be limited to a 90 day stay and that includes your journey through France and back.
Not quite sure how the colour of your car will have any relevance though.

Cheryl, my first thoughts on the mention of a white coloured car as opposed to other colours, were of its more efficient ability to reflect the rays of the sun 

Just a thought and hopefully Bencr85 will reply to expand on that.

You need to carry high visibility jackets for the people in the car and two warning triangles, plus of course the car documents.

With Brexit in mind:

IDP's. (that's plural because if you are planning to drive down through France then you'll need a different one than for Spain.) 

Green card.

Travel and health insurance (your EHIC's will be worthless.)
