Hi guys heading over ( thank god) this Friday..... while we are over we have been asked down to friends in Benalmadena..... a few questions if I may

1/ does anyone know the best route

2/ how many tolls are there

3/ roughly how long would it take

4/ how far is it

Any other questions you think I should ask

My proposal (I have driven this route a dozen times)

Villamartin to La Zenia / N332 to roundabout Mil Palmeras / Enter A7 and leave on exit 762 (Murcia) / Stay on RM 18 and merge into A 30 (Murcia) / Leave on exit 151 taking MU 31 and merging into MU 30 / Leave MU 30 on exit 0A merging into A7, exit on 651 and merge into A91/ renamed later A92N/ and A92 / leave on exit 177 and merge into A92M merging into A45 (Malaga) DISREGARD AP46 (toll), on exit 142A follow A7 to exit 122 and that's it.

1/ does anyone know the best route - I don't think there's any better

2/ how many tolls are there - none

3/ roughly how long would it take - 10-11 hrs.

4/ how far is it - some 600 km

Any other questions you think I should ask - best places for stopover: mind the very few roadside rest areas except Puerto Lumbreras, Riofrio, El M irador (exit 282 A92)

Never leave vehicle unattended and disregard anyone who asks you for the right way or whatever.
