Paperwork when driving over query
Hi all
Driving over from the UK end of august with our dog. Last time we did this was the summer of 2019 and all was fine but since then Brexit and covid rules have kicked in.
Do we need anything other than our full covid passes to drive thru France and enter Spain? I presume no locator forms are now needed?
Also when arriving at Folkestone for Le Shuttle train, what is the procedure with our dog? Do we have to go to a separate area or board the train with everyone else. In 2019 I can't recall any specific checks being made on our dog but I suspect that may have changed now?
As my wife won't drive abroad I'm going to have 2 stop overs (did it with one last time but first days drive from Essex was 740 miles which I found too much). Stopping overnight in Nantes and then Zaragoza. Was going to stick to motorways and suck up the toll charges but does anyone know, on that kind of route, how much longer in time it would take to avoid the tolls?
Many thanks for any advice.
