On a TV programme, A place in the sun, it showed a bowling club in villamartin and as I'm in my 70s I think I could make friends there for a month or two in winter.

Technically it is in San Miguel, in an area called Eagles Nest. But Nicola is correct, its on the Road from Villa Martin to San Miguel, next to Cheers bar.

Than you Nicola, that's a great help. It's a bit daunting going on holiday on your own but it seemed this club had a good social side to it, I am a bowler here in UK.
I also would be looking for an apartment close to the club for a month or two if you knew someone who could help me with that would be good.

Hi Paul, thank you for your reply. Sounds good, I will have to come out and try it, I am a bowler and the idea of living in that climate would be a dream, I would need to rent close to the club "maybe" I'm on my own and would dearly like to make new friends,
