We had one of these in place and now have another following the refurb. Should I seal this one then and it may help?
Remove it,silicon the lid and replace ,also if you still have the smell check the toilet outflow at the rear and seal it again with silicon.If you have a washing machine plumbed in check where the machine waste goes into the outlet pipe,needs to be siliconed.
Plumbers here Spanish and Expat seem to not seal any connections to the waste system.
