We have used Travel FX and Currencies Direct in the past, great service from both companies, also there is Transferwise that has received good comments in another post on the Forum, see the link.

Hi, we've been using both Currencies Direct and HiFX, been getting a better rate from HiFX.

You should try Transferwise, once your account is set up a transfer can take seconds from one bank account to another.

I too recommend Transferwise, always using the low cost transfer fee, but 1 tip, I did a transfer last night and as I had changed banks since last time at payment stage I opted for using my debit card instead of bank and without any warning it did the transfer but changed the fee from £10.43 to £16.40. Only realised after the completion. I had never used the drop down menu before and it always defaulted to low fee so didnt realise differrence. I,ve emailed them to suggest adding a warning message to highlight the fee change. Havent looked at rate this morning but got 1.1756€.

Regards

Pauline.
