Sunday Shopping Hours

Does anyone know if the shops are still closed on a Sunday during August. Also does anyone know if the beach bars are open yet?
The shops had to close on Sundays for twelve weeks during the year, but they grouped them all together before the busy Summer and will be open each Sunday for the rest of the year.
The latest reports or rumours are that the Beach Bars will be open by the end of July, but nothing so far.
