Can anyone advise on the legal use of a golf buggy on public roads in and around Villamartin golf course, we have a holiday house on Pau8 and considered purchasing a golf buggy, both to play golf and get up and down to the Plaza. Thanks

Are you serious?

Purely from a safety aspect it's a ridiculous idea but for actual legality I suggest you acquaint yourself with the recently introduced rules on electric scooters under which or near identical such a vehicle would fall.

I asked the question as I have seen buggies being driven around the Verdimar area towards Villamartin golf course a few times, there are also a lot of buggies parked at the side of the road in the same area, so yes I am serious.

To be honest I think that was a perfectly reasonable enquiry regarding the buggy’s

I have a property in the Sevilla part of Villamartin and often see them driving on the road down to the golf course and wondered myself the legality of it all

I would suggest that for anything to do with driving in Spain you have a look at the N332 site.   This is run in collaboration with officers of the Guardia Civil and is for English speaking people.   There is also an English version of the Spanish equivalent of the Highway Code on the site.
