Hello,

this is a very delicate and difficult subject for me to talk about.

I am currently suffering an extreme severe depressive state.

I suffer from bipolar disorder and have done for a long time. I am on medication which I take religiously. I am looking for self help groups, a practicing Buddhist and home help care. I have rang the samaritans and tried to get an appointment with my phychiratrist, still waiting for that at the moment.

If you have any helpful suggestions or know of any support groups or are a practicing Buddhist please message or even better private message me. Please try to be kind and thoughtful in your responses I am extremely delicate at the moment.

Thank you for reading this.

Hello TanyaMarie,

Sorry I don’t know of home help or Buddhist center in your area.  It’s good that you have made contact with your psychiatrist.

There is a walk in Samaritans center in Torrevieja which may know of support groups.  Punta Prima Commercial center.  Email pat@samaritansinspain.com

Have you looked at this link, perhaps some helpful contacts there?

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi TanyaMarie

Hope you’ve started to feel better.  While I was looking at U3A site, I found this link to an interesting service.  Might be of interest.

 http://adiem.org/

This site below might provide useful information for anyone.  U3A has a lot of classes and meet up groups.  No lower age limit 😁

Best wishes
