Hi Everyone,
We are looking forward to staying at our holiday home again in Villamartin. We recognise that there are some nice restaurants at the plaza and la fuente but would be keen to try authentic Spanish restaurants in the surrounding countryside areas (San Miguel etc) . Any suggestions please?

Donna Isabel (or similar name) in San Miguel de Salinas is very good and reasonably priced. Last time we visited they didn't speak English so you need someone fluent in Spanish to book for you. Alternatively call in if you visit the Wednesday market. In the town which us also good.
