Can anyone recommend: A repair company to fix a broken pull strap on interior upvc window shutter

Hi .One of the pull straps has been snapped  on my window shutters .The shutter is fully down so secure but the strap has disappeared into the wind mechanism above .Its sealed with silicone and without cutting it out I can’t see if it’s an easy fix so better for somebody in the know .Any advice appreciated .Rick

Hi 

You could do it yourself it’s not to hard basic diy skills look on YouTube step by step  instructions and straps are very cheap

Thanks Paul 

I have taken both the overhead panel and the winder case apart and found that the spring loaded wind mechanism is now faulty .The top spring loaded wheel seems built into the window casing so a bit out of my depth DIY wise .I have found a guy who is coming to look at it soon so hopefully sorted .Will report back here .Thanks for your reply as YouTube can be fantastic for all sorts

Hi the guy I’ve used is called Paul .His contact number is 0034 680845651 

Mossies is the business name .Think he’s Quesada area but will do Villamartin 

 ( Not having mine done until Tuesday so no idea on price or quality but he has been recommended on another Costa Blanca forum chat thread

Ian @ aspect shutters did mine..was quick and 40€ happy with the result and apparently cheaper if you have more than one done.
