You can wrap it yourself using DC fix or any other  heat resistant self adhesive vinyl.

Leroy Merlin have a selection.

Personally I like the quality of D C Fix and I’ve got mine from Amazon.es. It’s thicker  than most, therefore easier to use. I’ve used it on my kitchen worktops, cupboard tops and covering glass outdoor tables.

My kitchen worktop was granite and it’s now wrapped in light oak. I did it over 12 months ago and it’s still in perfect condition, OK I can no longer put a hot pan on the surface, it’s not that heat resistant, but hot dishes are fine. Best of all cost was about 40€  and if I want to change it in a couple of years, it comes off with the help of a hairdryer.

Don’t even consider the stuff they have in the chino’s, it’s thin, almost transparent and it’s a nightmare to work with.
