Hi all in Algorfa now that the borders are open and my wife and I are fully vaccinated we are coming over in mid June for 5 days, however to conform with the current regulations to re enter the UK we will need to have a negative PCR test, we will need to have this test on a Friday and obtain the results no later than the following Monday, does anybody know where we can take these tests and what cost we would expect to pay? Thanks in anticipation.

You do not need the more expensive PCR test; an Antigen test is acceptable for your return to the U.K. €40 at many private hospitals, clinics, even some of the larger pharmacies. Result emailed within 10 minutes. A quick Google should easily find somewhere in your area. I would suggest booking, rather than just rocking up. 🤪🥂

Farmacia in El Raso (off Lemon Tree Road) Antigen test 40€. Appointment required, results emailed within a few hours.

Thanks so much for the information. We are due to fly out on 10th July and was wondering how we would be able to get test to come back to the UK. Me and my wife have had both Vaccinations. Do most chemists do the test please? We have a place in Algorfa. Thanks

No, there are only a few sites doing testing and El Raso is the only farmacia I know doing the test in the area. I have read that they are getting rather busy so I would suggest you book the test as soon as you know when your return flight is. There is another place in Cabo Roig. If you google Dam Health Orihuela Costa it should take you to the website, you can book your appointments on line there and again same day result for the antigen test. There is also a testing facility at Alicante airport. All tests are appointments only and the farmacia in El Raso only accept cash.

Hi I'm Lorraine I have an apartment in Algorfa haven't been able to get over there ive booked to come out there 25th January for 2 weeks could anyone tell me the nearest place for covid testing for when I return to England, its nice to meet you all

Far easier to bring a test over with you. Take the test and send a photo of your result next to your passport and the test supplier will email the necessary travel certificate to you.

If you have a car the Imed Torriveja private clinic/ hospital . You can book online the charge € 40
