How do I pay a parking fine received in Moraira?
I picked up a parking fine in Moraira on 28 March.
It just reads ajuntament de teulada - no instructions

The actual fine to pay the ticket will be sent through the post and take anything up to 3-6 months to be sent. Whether you pay it will largely depend on a number of factors:
1. Are you driving a Euro plated car or one from another country ie, UK plated
2. Is it rented or is it yours
3. Are you on holiday here or are you a resident?
If the car is rented it will be sent to the rental company who will then forward it to you.
If you are resident here in Spain it will be sent to your address.
If you are driving a UK plated car and on holiday here they may find ways of tracking you down.
Whatever the scenario, the fine, if paid promptly, will only be €40 and you can do that on line. The instructions will be on the reverse of the payment. It will have 'SUMA' printed on the top corner of the envelope so you know it will be something that needs paying.
I wouldn't sweat it. Its no bigger getting a ticket out here. Its just a bit of a pain having to wait such a long time before you can pay. The 'ticket' you received is really just notification that you have been reported for a traffic violation.
Hope this helps.

When the notice comes through there will be a barcode on the back. Just scan this and it will link you directly to where you pay. Just put in your card details.
OR
A bill from SUMA can also be paid on their website using the numbers on the paperwork they have sent. When going onto the Suma website I always add /en to the end of their URL and it comes up in English. I did it last week!!!
