Travelling wirh pet thru france and spain

Hi..i am planning to bri g my dog over fir 90days in jan22.
Probably by ferry to spain but perhaps to calais then drive down to San Miguek.
Does anyone have any tips on hotels, using ferry services, required paperwork etc.
I know i will need rabies vacc and AHC document but does it need to have spanish and or french translation.
