Most people stick to the rule and breaking it is at your risk. You just have to think if it's worth it. I'm sure many people have not gone back to the UK after getting residencia was a must after Brexit. It's a risk whatever

I think you you will be ok for a couple of days,from my experience the police in the passport box look stoned and can,t even be bothered to look up at you enjoy your xtra time.

My husbands passport was scrutinised at Alicante airport when we left recently. We were within our 90 days, but the entry stamp was on several pages further on in passport. It took a good while to find. I certainly wouldn’t chance it.
