Well we've been living in France for over twenty years so have gotten used to good quality meat which I think is hung a bit longer than in Spain, (not saying it's cheap, but for the amount of time we eat beef we know what we're getting). We also try to avoid as many additives etc as possible. For me the issue with buying mince in Spain was whether the mincers in the supermarket are refrigerated like in France.. as our local supermarket only minces meat 'on demand' and takes a lump of lean beef and puts it through the refrigerated mincer.. If I can find the same quality etc in Spain that's ok, if not I'll buy some good quality beef and mince it myself at home.. Now if I could just find the same quality frozen food shops as in France!
