Iris, Elche hospital is a considerable distance from where you will be staying. Your nearest place would be the IMED hospital in Teulada. Has website.

Edit: forgot to say it’s about 15 or 20 minute drive.

We’re near to you and booked a PCR Test online at IMED Tuelada yesterday (they don’t take phone bookings) for Monday.  Very simple process, you choose your own appointment time, it cost 96€ and you get your results in 12 hours.

If you're normally resident in UK you don't need a PCR test - a much cheaper antigen test from a clinic or pharmacy will do (not a d-i-y one).

Easy to find and park. Book online, I paid 40 euros for the test. I used them a few months ago, and all went smoothly. 15 min wait. Certificate issued on paper and by email at the reception.

Im in the UK and we are planning to come   over to our home for a couple of month, as I understand it at the moment because Spain is amber if you have had two vaccines  you need only one  PCR test two days after coming back ,the government have a list of providers which we should use, on the list I found that they all say £20.00 but when I went into one provider it was £56.that was near where we are in Manchester they give you the phone number to ring,  , Maybe  you could arrange for the test for when you get back, it is so confusing , one provider was found not to be testing and dumping the tests. people were given results for their two and eight day sample and had not even sent their eight day test in. hope Im not to long winded but it might help you.
