UK issued Blue Badge usage after 1st Jan

Will my UK issued Blue Badge still be valid for use in Spain after 1st Jan?

I have been told mine wont be officially recognised in the EU anymore but I can't find an official answer to that yet. Other UK issued documents will not be recognised and I can't see the UK government bothering to negotiate a special arrangement on Blue Badges. We can maybe hope that over time something will be sorted, it's just wait until all the info in this 'deal' is available. It is ridiculous that there are so many questions needing answers by tonight and the info is not yet up on the official government sites!
Perhaps the strongest indication that the UK government never intended to have the Blue Badges recognised in the future is that those issued most recently in the UK were printed without the white EU stars that previously surround the white UK in the blue box - mine came back without any reference to the EU and no stars earlier this year.
