we are a senior couple 75 and 72 years old we would love to adopt a small dog.

Hi Mary,
SATS rescue in Dolores have a lot of dogs for adoption. We adopted from them because they were the only rescue centre who proactively advised us of Leishmaniasis and tested for it before adoption. You can make an appointment to visit them:
