Health care centre in Algorfa.

To register your S1, you need to make an appointment with the INSS in Torrevieja.  They will exchange it for a form which you need to take to your local health centre, who will then issue you with a SIP card.

That's the theory, but in reality, getting the appointment with the INSS is like pulling hen's teeth.  My friends used a translator, Sophie Johnson, to help them.  She can be contacted on (00 34) 675 36 70 98.

I would think that as you are in Algorfa then you come under the auspices of Orihuela so should find the INSS at the following:

Thank you, you're correct, Algorfa comes under Orihuela health authority, not Torrevieja.  Please would you edit your post and put a 'return' at the end of your link - this will turn the the hyperlink text blue in colour and make it 'live', so that Michael can access it.

Apologies, as you cone under Orihuela health authority, after you have registered your S1 at Orihuela, you then take the form to Almoradí health centre to obtain your SIP card.

I've got my S1 registered, can you go to the Algorfa Health Centre to get your card? Does anyone know please?

Registered online at INSS website. Took  the paperwork to Almoradi Health Centre, including padron, passport, TIE. Card issued in 15 minutes.

You can register your S1 form electronically at the INSS website without needing a digital certificate or a digital signature.
