Hi all. Wonder if you can help. I live in la finca golf. Moved in the property and it turns out I have a gas supply and but the solicitor never picked this up. The good news is the property has never been lived in so I don’t need to chase a contract down. However after speaking to ibodrola who supply the electric I need a CUPS number. I have tried so many numbers but can’t get through to the right department. And my Spanish is average. ( although learning fast) can anybody help. Thanks in advance. Matt.

Hi M2ttp1,

I'm confused by your post - are you trying to contract with Iberdrola for your gas supply? If so, they could be asking for the CUPS ("Identificación Punta de suministro") number for your electricity supply contract.  You can find this on page 2 of your electricity bill, under the section "Informacion Adicional", about halfway down the list.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim.

Thanks for getting back to me. So yes this is right. I phoned Iberdrola and they said this is not correct. Apparently I need a new one as it’s never been used and is a brand new Gad supply. Been a nightmare as I have been given a central number to call but nobody understands. I will double check what you are saying though. Thanks so much.
