Hi,

Can anyone recommend a company or person to sort out reoccurring damp internally to some low level walls?

I don’t think there is a damp proof course and I know the outside level s lower.

Any past experiences or help would greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hello there, I did a quick google search and found this : https://www.heritage-house.org/damp-and-condensation/managing-damp-in-old-buildings.html
I´m not suggesting that your house is ancient, and I´ve only quickly scanned this article, but there is an interesting bit about heating and the effect of warming and cooling leading to condensation on the lower levels. I hope it helps.

Hi you get damp walls in Spain because of the Yeso plaster they use its a sponge to moisture in the air. Damp coarse injections don't work because of the holes in the bricks and blocks as the damp coarse chemical needs an even bed of mortar or cement to form a barrier . The best way is hack off the the plaster and rerender using a waterproofer like Sika in the render mix and leave a gap at the bottom so render doesn't touch the floor. The Sika will stop salt and water being transferred through the wall and coming to the surface of new render and ruining new paint. If you want send me photos of the wall. Regards Paul
