Hi I'm looking for an appointment with a police station by heredades for obtaining an NIE number do anyone know
It needs to be a National Police station. Yours would be Alicante, Elche or Orihuela. You need to make an appointment from this site
Province is Alicante. then select National Police procedures and then NIE assignment.
Then look at what is required, includes your passport with copies, an EX15 form (which you can access from that site) and a 790 code 012 which is the payment of the tax about 12 euro which you pay at a bank and take the receipt with you. Reason for requirement would be purchasing property or a car or whatever. You don't need proof of what you want it for, just a reason.
I will say at the outset that getting an appointment is very difficult. You may need to go through a company like Expat Services or One Way services in Quesada to get an appointment for you. If you are in UK you can get one from a Spanish consulate that covers your area.
Avoid solicitors as they will charge outrageous fees for doing it.
Some foreigners' offices, like the one that has now moved to La Zenia, have links with the National Police and will also be able to do it but, again, finding an appointment would be difficult.
If anyone is having problems in filling out the various forms, this is the one in English with English instructions for the EX-15
Please note the English version is not acceptable and you must complete the one in Spanish but this will show you what all the various boxes are.
