I am currently staying in Altea (love it), and will stay for 34 days. I am a Canadian, so not a Schengen member, and will be returning to Chiang Mai Thailand (where I currently live). I have an opportunity to come back in 60 days. How long can I stay then ? 90 days minus the 34? Have searched the visa sites, but it's not clear. Thank you so much for any help. I am loving Altea, the ambiance, the people, etc.

I agree with Pete. As a Canadian national you don't need a Schengen visa, but your length of stays will, in theory, still be monitored by the passport control system. There will be a slight change in 2021, when you'll need ETIAS travel authorisation.
