I have had a brief discussion with a local Legal & Taxation office about arranging residency for both my wife and myself including SIP application. My wife is a EU national whilst I am not. Can someone advise me what fees it would be reasonable to charge for this service (just arranger fees, govt fees etc will of course be standard).

Also similar question for service fees to arrange transfer of car registration / plates from France to Spain as this same office has also advised they can do this for us also.

Appreciate any guidance forum members can offer

Hi Shane,

I assume that your wife will be applying for Spanish residency as a citizen of an EU country and you'll be applying as her non-EU family member.  The fee for your wife´s application, if you use a gestor, should be around €120 - it could be much higher if you use a lawyer.  I would guess that the application for you may be the same or possibly a little higher - hopefully, someone who has done this, post-Brexit, can advise.

There are companies in Spain who specialise in importing and re-registering foreign cars, so I would recommend contacting one for a quote, then you can compare it against the costs quoted by the local office you´ve already contacted.  My friends are currently using Leigh at Spanish Number Plates and have been very impressed with how he has explained what is involved and his detailed quotation:

Kind regards,
